Listed as a clerk he sails on the Canadian Pacific Line's RMS Duchess of Atholl, 3rd class, arriving 14 days later. This ship along with 2 others including the Duchess of Richmond he had sailed on from Canada were nicknamed the'Drunken Duchesses'as they were not too good in high seas! It held the record fro fastest Canada to Liverpool trip in 1928. It was sunk by a German submarine in 1940.
