Mount Shardelow, BC, Canada

Edward George Shardelow (P176) born in 1912 died in France in 1944 during World War 2. Canada named a mountain after him, Mount Shardelow, 2396 metres, is 35 miles north west of Nelson in the Valkyr range of the Rockies. Some of the family carried a commemorative plaque up a couple of years ago but had to leave it an hour from the top because of the weather. Some of us are hoping to carry it to the top in summer 2020.
